Short description: Vacancies in community centers and the associated lack of frequency drivers is a major challenge for many communities in our rural region. Innovative solutions are needed to reactivate vacant buildings, manage space, develop attractive using possibilities and revitalize community centers.

Market potential: Since the issue of vacant buildings, space management and community center revitalization is a major challenge for many regions, ideas and concepts will be helpful and applicable on a broad scale.

Timing: The challenge can start at any time. The solution should be developed and provided to the challenge owner in 2022-2023.

Desired result: Illustrating different efficient solutions, new ideas and utilization concepts for vacant buildings. The development of a digital vacancy register for the region as a basis for a future-oriented, inter-communal space management is also a desired output that will help us enormously.
