Short description: We are looking for solutions to make city traffic smoother for everyone or for a favored group. The aim is to reduce traffic emissions. These solutions can include new technologies for optimization of traffic lights for example, smart traffic re-routing, cameras, sensors, radars and lidars.

Market potential: Optimizing traffic in city centres is a goal for smart cities. Solutions are widely scale-able. Owner of this challenge is a city and the solution is relevant to other cities and municipalities.

Timing: The challenge is part of the process of developing and piloting mobility hubs. Optimising of mobility is an ongoing process for the owner the challenge. Nordic seasons may affect piloting.

Desired result: The aim is to find solutions for making the city traffic smooth. Avoiding unnecessary driving will also reduce emissions or encouraging low-carbon mobility choises with traffic group favoring. Collect and utilise relevant (open)data. Solutions must be usable in all weather conditions.
