Open source solution for optimizing library book logistics

Short description: Area network of 18 libraries is looking for open source solutions for optimizing transfer of books between libraries. Especially for reservations and optimizing the smart flow (for example if book is available in several libraries when and which book should be transported).

Market potential: Optimizing logistics has several use cases and therefore large market potential. Other libraries are potential customers. The solution can be potentially extended to shared use applications.

Timing: There is a real need for this solution. We wish to have the solution ready within one year after starting the co-operation with solution provider (November 2023).

Desired result: Open source solution for optimizing library book logistics for network of 18 libraries. Solution must take into account existing systems. Must be open source!
