Short description: EV charging will become a significant load in the distribution network and additional load profile optimisation might be needed to minimise the impact for the grid. A solution for more adaptable and intelligent EV charging is needed, that could apply machine learning and similar algorithms.

Market potential: EV charging station optimisation-business, energy provider, etc.; Load profile optimisation for charging sessions – DSO and TSO; There is a plan to have 60000 charging stations in Lithuania by 2030.

Timing: The solution is needed now, the idea is to test solution with new charging stations (constructed and planned in the nearest future) and analyse how that could be adapted to existing infrastructure.

Desired result: A demonstration of working solution with adaptable and controllable EV charging profile, optimisation of load profile using advanced algorithms, analysis how that could be adapted to existing infrastructure.
