Digitalization of Parking Management

Library of Challenges

Short description: The municipality approached the parking issues with different systems and now needs a solution to draw, connect and process a lot of data from different sources (API, open data, later also an option for IoT), to enable us to analyze the situation with predictability for years in advance.

Market potential: This solution (platform) that represents the right solution in the field of smart cities would be intriguing for foreign countries as well, if the concept of management and requirements are the same.

Timing: We estimate that the final solution requires at least 6 months of development, and the biggest challenge will be the responses of system providers.

Desired result: The platform can be used by everyone, as it will be open and freely accessible to all web visitors, and above all it will be useful: municipal management, spatial policy planners, police, residents in the vicinity of car parks, daily visitors and other interested public.

Information on challenge owner: City/municipality.
