Short description: In the end of the 90’s, est. 55 000 cars were registered in the city. This number doubled by_x000D_ today, and will be increase rapidly in the forthcoming years. Mobility problems, namely the_x000D_ excessive growth of car traffic, pose a significant challenge to the city.

Market potential: Debrecen’s population is currently around 200 000 inhabitants (including 30 000 university students) and it could increase to 300 000 in the next couple of decades.

Timing: Once the appropriate business model is developed, the project can enter the
implementation phase almost immediately.

Desired result: DKV Debrecen Transport Company would be responsible for providing MaaS services in the city, so an ideal solution would be to launch a hybrid model in cooperation with market-leading companies interested in the city.
