Short description: E-car users in urban areas rarely have a private charging station or are not willing to invest it on their own parking place. However, some neighbors or corporates would invest – if a workload is secured. A technical platform regarding the daily organization of charging is needed to solve it.

Market potential: 80% would prefer a charing infrastructure in the place of living. A mid-sized city of app. 300.000 inhabitants does have around 120.000 residential units. Til 2030: >30% are electric cars (= #20.000).

Timing: Due to the change in the mobility behaviour, the overall numbers of e-cars are fast growing, all OEMs will switch to BEVs by 2030. Thus a substantial solution is needed until 2023 at the latest.

Desired result: Prototype of a solution which can be implemented by a service provider to serve the need of the private e-car user and housing provider.
