Market potential: Temporomandibular dysfunction is a syndrome causing pain and dysfunction in the temporomandibular joints and masticatory muscles. This is a public health problem affecting up to 11% of the population.

Timing: Often, the treatment options for temporomandibular dysfunction are limited, even with modern: pharmacological, physiotherapeutic, specialized physiotherapy, oral, and TMS surgical treatments.

Desired result: New discoveries of the biomechanical properties of TMS creates a systematic approach to a complex problem and developing new bioengineering solutions. The prototype is based on a new insight into the biomechanical properties of TMS than the mechanism of action of currently used devices.
