Eupnoos is a novel software system for rapidly screening users for the presence of lung disease and / or poor pulmonary health.
At the most basic level, Eupnoos is addressing a major consumer pain point which is the absence of devices to track / monitor basic lung health (base line and progression) . Our proprietary algorithms analyse expiratory breath audio collected via a smartphone for ‘audio signatures’ associated with the presence of good or bad lung function based on the user’s individual base line. This is further broken down into specific disease presentations Eg. ruling in / ruling out asthma (diffrential diagnosis between allergies and asthma) as well as early COPD in smokers .

Eupnoos key feautres:
1. Smartphone-enabled Monitoring: Eupnoos leverages the widespread use of smartphones to transform them into personalized monitoring devices. By utilizing the smartphone’s built-in sensors and audio capabilities, Eupnoos can capture and analyze breath sounds, which are important indicators of COPD symptoms and exacerbations.
2. Objective Symptom Assessment: Eupnoos provides objective measurements and assessments of COPD symptoms, allowing for more accurate monitoring and treatment adjustments. Instead of relying solely on self-reported symptoms, Eupnoos offers objective data that can aid healthcare providers in making informed decisions.
3. Real-time Monitoring and Feedback: Eupnoos enables real-time monitoring of COPD patients, providing continuous feedback on their condition. This allows for early detection of exacerbations or worsening symptoms, prompting timely intervention and reducing the risk of hospitalizations.
4. Adaptive interface: It enables seamless integration with a variety of evidence-based questionnaires.
5. Data-driven Insights: Eupnoos collects and analyzes data from COPD patients over time, generating valuable insights that can inform personalized treatment plans and improve overall care outcomes. This data-driven approach enables healthcare providers to better understand and manage each patient’s unique needs.
