Matej Cerar is a Bachelor of Law with a passed BAR exam with a postgraduate at the Faculty of Economics (Sustainable leadership), Harvard Kennedy School (Leading Digital Innovations) and ongoing studies at FH Campus in Vienna on Urban Smart city Policies. Matej is fluent in English with C2 certification from TOEFL and IELTS.
Matej is the Head of Digital development and innovations section in the City of Ljubljana, in charge of smart city projects such as The Strategy of Digital Development, Urban Digital Platform and other digital solutions. Matej also has experience with the Innovation ecosystem, firstly part of the management in the Technology Park Ljubljana for nearly 2 years and secondly as the co-founder of a start-up.
